RipplePost ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We collect information you provide directly (email, name, payment details), information generated through your use of the service (scheduled posts, connected account metadata, usage logs), and technical information (IP address, browser type, device identifiers). We do NOT store the content of your social media posts beyond what is necessary to schedule and publish them. Media files are stored in your account's media library until you delete them or close your account.
We use your information to: provide and improve the service, authenticate you and manage your account, process payments, send transactional emails (post success/failure notifications, token expiry alerts), and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your post content to train AI models.
When you connect a social account, we store your OAuth access and refresh tokens. These tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC and are never exposed to your browser or third parties. They are used solely to publish content on your behalf.
We share your data only with: infrastructure providers (Supabase for database/auth, Cloudflare R2 for media storage, Upstash for job queuing), payment processor (Stripe — they never see your social tokens), and social media platforms (only the content and metadata needed to publish your posts).
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data, connected account tokens, and scheduled posts within 30 days. Media files are deleted immediately on account deletion.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@ripplepost.app.
We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
